SILVER JEWELLERY EVENING CLASSES - 8 Week course

These evenings are a great way to build up your jewellery making skills. And are suitable for complete beginners or those with more experience.
Thoughout the 8 weeks you will be expertly guided through the design process and all the traditional silversmithing techniques you will need to create your own unique pieces of silver jewellery.
If you are a complete beginner we take you through a series of introductory projects, so you can get to grips with the tools and materials, and as your skills increase you will learn how to make your individual designs and have the opportunity to tackle your own more complex projects. If you have some experience with silver jewellery you can jump right in with designing and making your own pieces. We will be running this course of evening classes twice throughout the year in 'terms' and it is designed so that you can keep coming back and building on the skills you have learnt before.

piercing
filing
fabricating
texturing/forming/shaping metal.
Our tutors have a broad range of jewellery skills so depending on your chosen designs there any many other skills you may learn during this course. If you have a specific project in mind that you woudl like to tackle during this course then please drop us an email and we can discuss it.
