WAX CARVING FOCUS CLASS
Sat 10am - 5pm
In this course you will learn how to carve and shape wax into different forms in order to design and make a complete piece of jewellery or small object. Ready to be taken to a professional fine casters to cast in your choice of precious metal.
Once you have mastered the basics of wax carving you will be introduced to more techniques to help you to carve more complex designs and acheive a really professional finish to your waxes.
This class is suitable for complete beginners or those with some jewellery making experience already. This class is perfect to compliment other ways of making jewellery such as fabricating with sheet metal and wire. It is also great for creating highly textured or volumous designs.
All day classes run from 10am - 5pm and are held at our studio in Walthamstow.
Making jewellery can be messy so please don't wear your best clothes! And for Health and Safety reasons please wear sturdy footwear that covers your feet - i.e. no sandles, leather boots or shoes are best.
If you need reading glasses please bring them along, as we will be working on tiny things.

If for any reason you are unable to attend one of our classes you are welcome to send someone in your place, but unfortunately we cannot offer transfers or any refunds. On rare occasions details of Made By Ore classes or events may be changed without notice. If these changes adversely affect a class that you have already booked, in this instance, you will be able to change to a different class or receive a refund.
